BaZi Chart

Free BaZi chart

BaZi calculator

Enter a birth date, time, and place. We show every step: Li Chun year, solar-term months, true solar time.

Facts stay free. Readings are one-time.

Used for its time-zone history and true solar time.

The Zi hour runs from 23:00 to 01:00. The default starts the next day pillar at 23:00, not at midnight. A birth near that line can change the day pillar and the Day Master. Zi-hour day boundary

Default is on. It applies when the birthplace supplies a longitude: longitude minutes plus the equation of time. A time zone alone has no longitude, so true solar time stays off even if this box is checked. How true solar time works

Daylight saving is read from the time-zone record and removed when it was in effect. The chart is then read in standard time, and in true solar time when that correction is on. How we calculate

Birth time blank → year, month, and day pillars only. We never guess noon or any other hour.

What the form is already set to

  • The year starts at Li Chun, not at Chinese New Year.
  • Months change at the twelve jie solar terms.
  • True solar time is on when you choose a birthplace. Daylight saving is removed from the time-zone record.
  • The day pillar changes at 23:00 unless you switch it to midnight.
  • An unknown birth time leaves the hour pillar out. The form never fills in noon.
