Changelog
Changes to the public site. How a chart is calculated is on the methodology page, and stays the same unless an entry here says otherwise.
- The compatibility form uses the same birth-time dialog as the home calculator. If a time is blank, the page asks whether to enter it or continue with the hour pillar left out. It still never guesses noon.
- Written reports are not sold for published example charts, teaching fixtures, or the fictional sample charts. A paid report is only for a birth date you enter yourself.
- Opening a public figure from the example charts shows that person's name on the result.
- Living public figures show their 10-year luck pillars immediately. Charts of people who have died omit that section. The calculation receipt stays.
- Leaving the birth time blank on the home calculator opens an explanation instead of a one-line note. You can enter the time, or continue without one.
- The footer “Featured on” badges sit on one scrolling line.
- Directory badges for Smol List, AiTop10, Launchpadly, and PostYourStartup were added to the footer.
- The llms.txt file now keeps its Chinese characters, the Day Master pages are listed, and images have alternative text.
- Public guides and the calculators can be indexed. Account, checkout, pricing, and any page that carries birth details in the address stay out of search.
- The calculator accepts birth years from 1800 through 2100. The solar-term table behind it runs from 1799 through 2101.
- Example charts now cover 18 public figures with a published birth date and a source. Fictional charts used for teaching sit in an appendix.
- Paid reports can be bought with a card. Checkout is on the chart or compatibility result, after you sign in with Google and accept the terms.
- Purchases and free readings each have their own page under the account.
- The public site is https://pillarchart.com. www.pillarchart.com redirects there. The support address is in the footer.
- The compatibility calculator compares two charts side by side, with no score. A sample compatibility report is on the site.
- Sample report pages show real page thumbnails. The site disclaimer is the same line in the footer and in the PDF.
- The free Four Pillars calculator, methodology, and the first set of guides went live.
- Google sign-in and a short written reading (allowlisted while in private beta) were added. The reading is checked against the chart facts.
- Paid PDF reports: natal, complete with luck pillars, and the 2027 annual forecast. A failed delivery can be refunded in full.
